This powerful application has been in use since 2002 and version 7 adds several enhancements to ease of use, performance, option to use or not scale, support for Windows 10 and 11 and many more.



Using Brain's Packaging and Labeling software will reduce the customer complaints because they received your products with defects like:


  • Product not corresponding to the label in the packaging box, because of  pre-printed labels.
  • Missing or wrong packaging components like instruction sheets, operating manuals or protection material.
  • Mixed models of products in the box.
  • Error in quantity of products in box.
  • Product not validated by the last station or not passing the last test.
  • and may others.


Additionally, you will


  • Reduce the time to train new operators by using visual help for each packaging component.
  • Control the level of fulfillment of PO from your customers.
  • Connect the P&L production module to other stations like the final test station using a digital card.
  • Reprint the last label to replace damaged labels.
  • Validate the component with a bar-code reader, a confirmation button, its weight or by an external application.
  • Display alerts for any product setting a start and end dates.
  • Design and print box, pallet, UPC labels and list of parts in box (BOM).
  • Assign serial number to products and be able to include it in UPC label.
  • Store all products packed to track sensitive components.


The system uses three modules:


Administration Module


All components, products, packaging plans and every other configuration needed are stored in Brain P&L Administration Module. You will connect a camera to generate visual help, include a PDF file with alerts and detailed instructions to guide the operator step by step.


Production Module



The production module guides the operator step by step through the entire packaging process, validating each component with a barcode reader, component weights, and fixture sensors. Once the packaging sequence is complete, it prints box, pallet, and parts list (BOM) labels, as well as UPC or even UL labels. To accommodate this, you can connect as many printers as needed, depending on the label sizes required.


Dashboard Module



The dashboard module will show the status of each packaging station. The layout is configurable and can include charts and pictures.
